One cookie, during the beta

While zterm is in private beta, entering an invite code sets a single cookie, zterm_beta, so you are not asked for the code again on your next visit. It holds no personal information, only a signed marker that a valid code was entered, and it expires after thirty days. It is the only cookie zestful.dev sets, and it goes away with the beta.

No tracking

There are no advertising, analytics or tracking cookies, and no cookie from a third party. A cookie that only remembers your own choice needs no consent banner, so the site does not show one.

Browser storage

If you sign in to the Zestful dashboard on this site, your session token is kept in your browser's local storage so you stay signed in. It is used for nothing else and is not shared with anyone. Clearing site data in your browser signs you out. zterm itself needs no account and never uses this site's storage.

Error reporting

The site uses Sentry to report errors in its own pages. Sentry sets no cookies. What it receives when a page errors is described in the privacy policy.

The zc web board

The coordinator's board runs on your own machine and is off by default. It sets no cookies. It keeps a few view preferences, such as which sections you folded, in your browser's local storage, where they never leave your computer.
